Shibuya

After lunch yesterday, we went to Shibuya to get princess her new shoes. Masyaallah mabuk menengok lautan manusia.

Well, Shibuya is another landmark of Tokyo and one of the most crowded place. It's the absolute capital of Japan's youth. With trendy and eccentric shopping, a lot of schools, recreation centres, this is also the place I went for my Wilton lesson, it is the ideal place for thousands of young Japanese to meet and spend the day. Shibuya is also famous for its "love hotel hill", adult shops and bars in Dogenzaka.

My meeting point with friends in Shibuya will be Hachiko's statue. Hachiko's Statue is one of the famous meeting place. Hachiko is the name of this perfectly loyal dog, owned by Professor Ueno, who waited for his master many months after he had died. The statue is just in front of the Tokyu Department Store and Shibuya station and has an exit named after it.

Shibuya has a few regular department stores, like Tokyu and Seibu, miscellaneous goods department stores such as Tokyu Hands and Loft where you can buy anything from home accessories and cosmetics to halloween costumes, Labi for electrical items, Harley Davidson store (siapa yang suka motor tu sure juling-juling mata tengok motor kat sini and I really like HD's sweater..really nice but gosh bloody expensive..hua..hua...takde siapa nak belanja ke?). There are also plenty recycle shops selling branded items and jewelry too. Dah tu je cerita pasal shibuya ni...basically atok ngan nenek je takde kat tempat ni.

Meal of the day

chicken korma, masala beef with potato/carrot, fried cabbage with egg, prawn curry
kuih bakar for tea
